FAQ: How do I remove an event from the schedule?

If you need to remove a scheduled block from the schedule, you can do so individually or in bulk.

Delete scheduled blocks in bulk

To delete or cancel a specific shift from an employee's schedule in Time by Wagepoint:

1. In the navigation menu, go to Schedule > Scheduler.

2. Select the relevant event, click Event Actions, and select Delete Events.

3. Under Delete by, use the drop-down menu to select Employee.

4. Under Which employee(s)?, use the checkbox to indicate the relevant employee.

5. Under Which event(s)?, use the drop-down menu to select the relevant event.

6. Under Select time range, indicate the relevant time range:

  • Future events
  • All events
  • Custom range (if you select this option, then enter your desired start and end date).

7. Click Delete.

Delete an individual time block from the Schedule

To delete or cancel a specific shift from an employee's schedule in Time by Wagepoint:

1. In the navigation menu, go to Schedule > Scheduler.

2. Locate the shift you'd like to remove or cancel, hover over the time block with your mouse, and click the trash icon.

3. Select if you'd like to delete just this event, this and future events, or all events. Then, click Delete.

How can I remove unavailable time from the Scheduler?

If you've marked a timeblock as unavailable but would now like it to be available, you'll first need to cancel or delete it. You can remove the unavailable timeblock in the same way as any other timeblock.

To remove an individual timeblock, hover your mouse over the timeblock and click the trash icon.

To remove timeblocks in bulk, use the Event actions dropdown and select Delete events
