What's New in Employee Timesheets 2.0?

Employee Timesheets 2.0 is a complete refresh of the employee portal, built to give you more visibility, more control, and a smoother all-in-one experience.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Full Pay Period Access: Easily view past, current, and upcoming pay periods with just a few clicks.

  • Everything in One Place: See your worked shifts, time off, and requests together — no more jumping between screens.

  • Clear Request Statuses: Quickly view the status of any request: pending, approved, or denied.

  • Smarter Filters: Drill down by job, location, date range, or request type to find exactly what you need.

  • Flexible Time Submission: Add or edit shifts, request time off, and submit multi-day shift requests, all within your timesheet.

  • A More Intuitive Experience: Faster page loads, improved date pickers, fewer pop-ups, and a simpler way to navigate your time data.

Navigating Your Timesheet

Viewing Past, Current, and Future Pay Periods

Use the calendar picker or navigation arrows to quickly move between pay periods.

Understanding Your Timesheet View

Your worked hours, time off, pending requests, and approvals are all shown together in one easy-to-read view.

  • Approved entries are locked and marked clearly.

  • Pending and denied requests remain visible until processed.

Submitting and Managing Time

You can submit a new shift directly from your timesheet without leaving the page.

To submit a new shift:

  1. Click Add Shift.

  2. Choose your date, start time, end time, and job.

           Quick Tip:

Submitting more than one day?

Select Multiple Days and check Exclude Non-Working Days if needed to skip weekends and holidays.

      3.  Add any optional notes or breaks.

      4.  Click Submit Request.

Editing an Existing Shift

Need to fix a clock-in or clock-out time? You can easily request edits from the timesheet.

To edit a shift:

  1. Find the shift you want to edit.
  2. Click the 3 dots (menu) to the right of the shift.
  3. Click View/Edit, Cancel request or Delete shift

  4. Adjust the times as needed.

  5. Click Send Request.

Requesting Time Off

Request vacation, sick time, or other time off — right from your timesheet.

To request time off:

  1. Click Request time off.
  2. Select the Request Type:  Paid or Unavailable / Unpaid
  3. Select the appropriate Payroll item:  Holiday, Vacation or Sick.
  4. Enter Date and Time.
  5. Click Send new request.

Note: Time off requests are submitted one day at a time.

Managing Your Requests

Tracking Request Statuses

Every action you take will show a status next to it:

  • Pending – Awaiting manager review.

  • Approved – Accepted and locked for payroll.

  • Rejected – Rejected by your manager.

Filters and Sorting

Using Filters to Customize Your View

You can filter your timesheet by:

  • Job

  • Location

  • Request Type (e.g., Vacation, Sick)

  • Date Range

 

Sorting Entries

Sort your entries by:

  • Newest First
  • Oldest First
  •  Location (A-Z or Z-A)
  • Job (A-A or Z-A)



Note:
Once you select a sort option, it remains active for your session until you refresh the page.

 

Refreshing the Report

If you don’t see your latest updates, click Refresh Report to pull in new data from the server.

Helpful Tips

  • Approved time is locked for payroll and cannot be edited.

  • Pending requests remain visible until approved or denied.

  • You can cancel pending requests directly from the timesheet.

  • Use multi-day shift requests to quickly submit shifts across several days at once.

  • Time Off must still be requested one day at a time for now.

  • If something doesn’t appear right away, click Refresh Report.
